Caroling Update...'O Come Let Us Adore Him!

Thanks All! A few of you reached out privately, and in the end it looks like Friday will be the better choice for our gathering. We are sorry it won't work for some, but we hope all of you are finding ways to glorify our Lord this Christmastide! So...a few notes from Mrs. Towne:

Let’s gather at Central Park in

Downtown Clinton

for Christmas Caroling

on the 5th Day of Christmas,

Friday, December 29, 2023,

from 5 to 6 pm!

Fr. Mazzone has generously offered us use of the lovely space in the lower level of St. John’s Church following for a light supper and social time.

Other Details:

I will bring the songbooks, but if you happen to have a copy, please bring yours along. There is parking along all 4 sides of the park which is located less than a ¼ mile from St John’s Church.

The Townes will bring a hearty ham and potato soup (every day in the Christmas Octave is a Solemnity!).  If families would consider a contribution of bread, cookies or other unfussy dessert, and drinks, that would be great.

Please be aware that Adoration takes place in the lower chapel until 6 pm; there is also a 6 pm Mass in the Upper Church.

There are no kitchen facilities in the parish hall. We will need to thoroughly clean the space before leaving.

What a great joy it will be to sing together!
