Let the book buying and borrowing begin! (Mr. Bleecker's lists are in)

Okay, the summer hiatus of LCC stuff is officially over. It's time to get cracking!

We hope to ease you in, however, so don't worry. This won't be information overload. Please know that we hope to post every few days bits of information in digestible quantities.

SO, to get you started, please enjoy these book lists from Mr. Bleecker. Both the JH and HS lists are here, and hopefully with plenty of time to obtain used copies from far away places.

On your marks, get set...GO!

I just mistakenly ordered Iliad and Odyssey for 10th-12th grade, instead of Essential Iliad and Odyssey for 7th-9th grade. So if someone wants to buy them from me, I'd like to sell them to you!

Sorry about that! He did not send a list, because I forgot to ask.

I am sure that they will need a lined notebook for taking notes in class (and pencils or pens).

And I can't imagine anything else they would need.

Please note: He has requested that hard copies of books be brought to class. (So even if your student listens to an audiobook at home, please have a real book for him to bring for in class discussions.)

A quick note... Mr. Bleecker has requested that all students bring a copy of the text to class. So even if your student is listening to an audiobook, he should still have a paper copy which he can refer to in class. Thank you!

Hi everyone! Please note that if you jumped on this list on the afternoon of July 28th, when it was posted, and bought Ben Hur right away, please note Mr. Bleecker has changed the edition. He noticed this one was not available readily used and cheap and so switched it up. Please make sure you've ordered the Signet (NOT the Dover). Thanks!!
