Thanksgiving potluck lunch

Many thanks to Mrs. Donnelly for pulling this together! Here are her notes:

Let’s Celebrate and Give Thanks Together!

As we are rapidly approaching the end of Martinmas term and Thanksgiving break is upon us some celebrating is in order!

Let’s give thanks for an excellent semester and also celebrate the end of exam week with some delicious food and drink shared together!

Instead of packing up lunches this Friday, please instead consider bringing a dish to share with the group.

We will set up a potluck in the parish hall  beneath the gym and have our luncheon indoors.

USE THE COMMENTS SECTION BELOW TO TELL US WHAT YOU WILL BRING, AND IN WHAT QUANTITY.

We hope that the following could be fulfilled:

* 3-4 families to bring sweets,

* 3 families to bring drinks.

* 1 family to bring forks, plates and napkins for the group (we have plenty of spoons and knives already)

* The rest of the families could bring:

not-too-fussy  meatless  savories to share.

PLEASE RESPOND IN THE COMMENTS!

This will help us determine if there are any gaps that need to be filled.

Update:

We are all set for drinks, the utensils, plates and napkins.

For the remaining families it looks like we are in need of some more main dishes.

Desserts are also welcome BUT we want to make sure that everyone is able to eat a hearty lunch!

Lots of hungry kids (and moms) to feed!

Thanks for all who have responded so far!
